Devogue Paris started in 2015 in Mathura, near Agra, one of India’s biggest leather manufacturing regions. In the beginning, we didn’t know everything about shoe making, but we had a strong sense of style and a clear understanding of global fashion.
Over the next nine years, we focused on learning footwear the right way—materials, construction, fit, comfort, and durability. We spent time understanding how good shoes are actually made, not just how they look.
The journey wasn’t easy. We faced losses, mistakes, and many moments of doubt. But each challenge helped us improve and pushed us to build something better.
Along the way, we saw a clear gap in the market. Many new brands struggle with quality and consistency, while older brands often rely on their established names to sell at high prices, using inferior materials behind attractive packaging.
